Ram Charan may have taught a lesson to his reel villains. But, what about the real enemies who are out to get him? Charan is in fresh trouble over the previously infamous drunken traffic brawl in Banjara Hills.
It may be noted that a few weeks back, Charan's security guards were sent to manhandle two software employees on a busy street in Banjara Hills as they passed indecent comments. Charan and his wife were on their way to a nearby hotel for a family meal. As per police reports, it was the actor who had actually provoked them, leading to the fight.
The techies did not file a case for fear of the political clout of dad Chiranjeevi. Unfortunately for the actor, the case has come back to haunt him again with the State Human Rights Commission directing the Banjara Hills Police to book cases against him and the security men.
Compounding his troubles, even Priyanka Chopra is miffed with Charan for not being punctual to the promotional activities of Zanjeer. The 'Exotic' singer is reportedly furious over his carelessness. Enough troubles? There's more. Seemandhra protestors in Vizianagaram have burnt one of the posters of Toofan, saying that they will stop the film from screening.
Despite police action, the agitators are vocal about their displeasure with Chiranjeevi. Charan had recently gained appreciation for having the presence of mind to save a Zanjeer cast member from being hit by his bike during a fight scene, when the fighter slipped and fell. After the bouquets, the brickbats have followed with equal measure. Let's hope he handles this better.
